I have to mention this. We are staying on Avenue Foch, which is the widest street near Champs Elysees. For the past 2 days, in honor of Arbor Day, the Champs was closed & they had the entire street for miles covered with boxes full of trees & greenery. Everyone just walked down the street to enjoy the nature setting.
Our street was used by those putting on the show, as basically the staging area. So, we have had forklifts lining the street across from our building, along with hundreds of 18 wheelers. Tonight, they took the whole exhibit down. They just finished putting the last trees on the trucks, and now we are on the balcony witnessing these crazy ass french men riding down the street with their forklifts, dancing on top of them & honking their little forklift horns.
And that, my friends, is a part of Paris only the residents must see. Hilarious, I must say.
